Significantly Influence the Chi in Your Home Using Color

The colors that you use to decorate your home will have a significant influence on its chi, because each color reflects different light frequencies back into the room, filling it with either faster or slower chi. As these light frequencies travel through your outer chi field, they also change the way your own chi moves, resulting in different feelings and thoughts.

Yin And yang colors bright reds, yellows and oranges help you feel more active, stimulated and yang. Pale colors, such as light blues and greens, help you feel more peaceful, calm and yin. Large plain blocks of bright color are most yang, although you can also make a room feel more yang using straight-line patterns, such as checks or a grid, wavy lines or irregular forms break up the flow of chi, making it more yin.

To feel more expressive and sociable, you need more southern chi. The color that helps activate this energy is bright purple. Use the appropriate color in the part of your home that it relates to. So you might have a white room in the south, with just a few bright purple touches.

When you are ready to paint, put large test patches on the wall and live with them for a few days to see how you feel. The stronger the color, the less you will need to change the energy of a room.
