Divination & Meditation

An alternative method to find what you really need in life is to tap into your inner self, your deepest chi. Here you can use your unconscious self to make the choices for you. You will no longer be distracted by the delusions that surround you, but will have the clarity and openness to embrace a new line of thought.

For example, it may not be wealth, lovers or security that makes you happy after all, but perhaps a spiritual connection, or finding a new way to release your creativity.

You can use divination (selecting a card) or kinesiology (the mechanics of human muscles) to help you. This time get a friend to assist you.

Use Cards to Tap into Your Inner Chi
  1. Take a pack of cards and select eight. Write one of the following words on the inside face of each of the cards, using a marker: health, moods, relationships, creativity, finances, family life, career, and spiritual life. Keep these cards separate from the rest of the pack.

  2. Turn the eight cards face down. Sit calmly and concentrate on what you want to develop within yourself as you shuffle the cards. Select a card that feels right to you. Turn it over and look at the word on the face of the card.

Kinesiology
  1. Lie down on your back.

  2. Ask your friend to place the eight cards with the words written on them, one at a time, on your body. Place them on your forehead if you want to resolve issues to do with your mind; on your chest for emotional concerns; and on your abdomen for physical ailments.

  3. Each time a card is placed on you, try to lift your straight arm up off the floor, while your friend applies firm resistance by holding your wrist.

  4. Eliminate the cards where the power in your arm felt weakest. Then repeat the process with the cards that brought out the strongest force, until you have the one card that helps you produce the greatest power in your arm.

  5. Do your research and look for ideas you can apply in your own home.
