Using Feng Shui Remedies to Solve Personal Problems

Curative feng shui is when you have identified a problem in your life and wish to use feng shui to help you solve it. In this scenario most people want as little disruption to their home, and to spend as little on remedies, as possible. The art of this style of feng shui is to be as accurate and specific as you can. It is a case of less is more.

Feng shui does not work like a magic pill, and by itself it will not make you wealthy, get you the perfect relationship or improve your health. You need to work at it and try to create the situations where any of these things can happen.

Tip

Remember that you cannot change another person only yourself, so blaming another person will not lead to a situation that you can do anything about. Writing your thoughts can be therapeutic in itself.

Get What You Need Out of Feng Shui
  1. Imagine that you are at the end of your life. You are feeling content and satisfied as you prepare to move on from this material world. You have completed everything. Try to visualize, to feel and to hear what it would be like to have reached this state.

  2. Think about what you need to do between now and then, to be able to feel like that. Initially think about broad ideas. Once you have these fixed in your mind, you can begin to work on the practicalities and fill in the details. You may need to keep refining the details until you are satisfied that they are realistic.

  3. Take a blank piece of paper and write your plan down, visualising exactly how it would look and trying to imagine how it would feel. Work on the details until your plan feels right for you.

  4. Work out what you need to change about yourself in order to achieve your dreams. Once you have decided which aspects of your character you want to work on, you can then use feng shui to help bring about a change. For example, if you want to be more playful, you could look at strengthening the chi of the west in your home, or at absorbing more of this chi by turning your bed so that the top of your head points to the west.
