How to Use Feng Shui Remedies in Your Life

Using feng shui remedies in your everyday life is very important. Take the example of a woman who wants to start a new relationship, but has been single for several years. The aim is to find why she has not been successful, and then create the remedies.
  1. ASK:

    • Does she meet people?
    • Does she go out enough?
    • Does she go to the right places?

  2. ASK:

    • Is she too selective?
    • Does she feel shy?
    • Does she overwhelm potential lovers?

  3. ASK:

    • Is she too assertive?
    • Does she look for commitment too quickly
    • Is she too aloof and gives off the wrong signals

  4. Find the most likely reason for her difficulty in starting a relationship from her answers to the questions. In this example, let's assume the woman is shy and, even though men she likes are attracted to her, she appears aloof and disinterested. The remedy would be to help her feel more confident, assertive and expressive.

  5. Look through the nine types of chi to find the ones that will best help. In this example, bringing more eastern and southern chi into the woman's chi energy field would be beneficial.

  6. See if it is possible to turn the bed, so that the top of the head points in a more desirable direction, enabling more of that chi to be absorbed. In this case, east or south would be best. If the woman is a light sleeper, south could be too fiery, in which case east would be better.

  7. Look in the relevant sectors of the home to see if there are any features there that could be contributing to the problem. In this example, a bathroom in the south (where the water chi could destroy the fire chi of the south, in the absence of any wood chi) needs attention. Eastern or southern chi could be missing from the home's floor plan (depending on its shape), or there might be a lack of chi in the east or south, due to an absence of windows.

  8. Introduce remedies. The easiest approach is to add more of the same chi to each area. Here plants, tall wooden features and the color green would strengthen the chi of the east. Candles, star shapes and the color purple would strengthen the chi of the south. In addition, you can use the five-elements theory to help.

Place plants in a southerly bathroom to make sure there is sufficient wood chi; place a water feature in the east, as water chi supports the wood chi of the east.
